Since I was a little girl, I dreamt about being a photographer. I wanted to impact the world in a positive way through portraits.
Welcome to my site, I am Elizabeth Ledbetter, owner and chief creator at Jave Photography. I’m just a small town girl from Missouri that developed a passion for not only photography, but for people. As a self taught photographer, I have experienced the trial and error of creating quality, timeless images that you will enjoy for years to come. Because I am self taught, it is important to me that I am current on techniques and trends that are up and coming in the industry, in order to continue to sharpen my skills. My work has been featured in numerous local magazines such as Citiscapes, NWA Kids Directory and photography specific publications like Shutter Magazine.
One of the areas of photography I was immediately drawn to was women’s portraiture, primarily because of the positive impact I have seen it have in women’s lives and the way they view themselves. My specialty areas include, maternity portraits, senior portraits and branding photography. My ultimate goal is for you to see yourself in these images the way I see you through the lens: bold, daring and confident. I always want your photos to represent you and because of that, my sessions are comfortable, low stress, and natural. I came up with the name Jave from combining the initials of my three beautiful girls as well as my own name. It is a daily reminder of why I do this and who I am doing it for. I can’t wait for you to reach out so that we can work together on your unique vision for your special moment.

Vada Ledbetter - Photographers Assistant
Vada is the assistant for Elizabeth at Jave Photography. She does all the behind the scene pictures and videos, including posting stories while being at the shoot. She gives a second pair of eyes for each client to ensure there is nothing out of place. If you see her on your shoot, don’t be afraid to say Hi.
